In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 medical apps on the Android platform in Ghana showed varying trends in downloads and revenue, reflecting their market penetration and user engagement. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers insights into the performance of these apps.

My Calendar - Period Tracker from SimpleInnovation saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 407 downloads and peaking at 1.8K in early June. The app maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at $8 in late April before stabilizing around $1-$2 for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users also showed a consistent rise, starting from 9.3K and reaching approximately 12.7K by the end of June.

rsLog - GHS experienced a significant surge in downloads midway through the quarter. Starting with modest numbers, downloads jumped to 1.3K in early June and further rose to 3.1K by mid-June. Despite this increase, the app did not generate any revenue during the period.

DrugNet, published by Tanacom IO, also saw a dramatic increase in weekly downloads. From just 11 downloads at the end of March, the app reached a peak of 1.9K in the week of June 20. Like rsLog - GHS, DrugNet did not generate any revenue during Q2 2022.
